Inventory Blow Out Sale

Dragon Design’s Annual Inventory Blow-Out Sale has finally arrived!!!

We are clearing out our warehouse making room for new inventory.  Most inventory is in new condition and has only been used to stage vacant homes and shows little sign of wear & tear. 

You are invited to a private showing on Thursday, May 14 & Friday May 15, 2009 to shop the sale before we open it to the public.  Please email info@dragondesignco.com with your name and contact number and we will email you back with a shopping pass with your scheduled date/time to come to the sale.

The sale will be open to the public on Saturday, May 16 from 8 am to 1 pm.

Decorative pillows, floral arrangements, bedding sets, art, candles, picture frames, accessories, bath towels and lamps are just some of the items that will be available for purchase.  Don’t miss this once a year opportunity to decorate your home at a fraction of the cost you would pay retail.

We will be featuring one of kind art work from local artist Joe Dragon.  If you are serious about giving your home a fresh look with custom giclee photography which is printed on canvas and also matted and framed don’t miss this rare opportunity to purchase his artwork at a discounted rate compared to what he sells his work for at local galleries.  Joe Dragon will be on hand during the sale to discuss his work and pricing.

We prefer cash but if your purchase totals $50 or more we can accept Visa, Master Card, or Amex with a 3% processing fee. The sale is located in West Chester, PA and your shopping pass will include detailed directions to the sale. 

We recently worked with, Realtor, Peggy Evans, of Keller Williams Real Estate in West Chester, PA.  Dragon Design, LLC worked with the homeowners to prepare their home for sale, before it was listed.  For this project, Dragon Design, LLC painted in the house, did some minor work in the bathroom and on the hardword floors and also provided furniture and accessories to supplement what the sellers had in their house already.  By staging and working with the homeowner before listing their property, we, ensure the seller the house is marketable to the maximum amount of buyers and warrants its asking price.  To compete in this market, you must be priced right and look better than the competition.  With some fresh paint colors Dragon Design, LLC selected, along with our furniture and accessories, this seller’s house is sure to sell within Dragon Design’s current statistic of approximately 90 days!

Hopefully the old saying is true “April flowers bring May flowers” because we have been working in our galoshes the last couple of days and are finally drying out.  In addition, in the spring we tend to focus more on outdoor living spaces when we are staging a home and there is nothing like May flowers to add curb appeal.

Have you ever come up with an idea that you swear no one else has ever thought of? You never heard of the idea so you think you just hit it big. I mean…What would the chances be that the idea has been taken? It’s ingenious, it’s insightful, and it’s perfect.

Well, as I was quickly approaching my 37th birthday I had such an idea. Wouldn’t it be fabulous to love what I do, utilize my organizational skills, and help people though a major life change. This is what I am all about! Behind the scenes, unbeknownst to me, I was in the mist of reinventing myself and my life’s direction when I hit a wall. I need a change!

I started brainstorming idea’s with a friend and in the library of our condo clubhouse the concept of a senior transition company was born. A handful of rainbow sharpies and extra large flip chart were our weapons of choice along with the need to make a difference.

Guess what, it wasn’t a bright new idea – I found out that there is an entire industry designed to service people in the process of moving, especially seniors. It is called Senior Move Managers. A little over a year later, I am certified, insured and a member of NASM (National Assoc. of Senior Move Managers. Dragon Design is happy to be launching the newest addition to our website – this blog! We look forward to sharing our current events with you regarding home staging, sales preparation, move management, interior design and holiday home decorating.

This month we have been busy staging houses and helping people get ready to move and settle into their new homes. Our holiday home decorating team is now in full swing.
